Not a perfect system – especially if you don’t have health insurance; I’ll agree. And – it is very costly to insurance companies and for people paying out of pocket. BUT – compare it to other countries. Those with socialist systems tell stories of waiting for months or even years to get treatment. And, we can also blame our litigious system for all the law suits which drive up costs. And who do you think approves those expensive punitive awards? We the citizens in the guise of jurors.
