This is one of the stupidest cartoons I have ever seen. The Democratic Party in the USA is equivalent to a European moderate right party. This Varvel shows he has no concept of what socialism or communism is. I at least like the cartoonists to know what they’re talking about.

It’s more likely that unfettered capitalism will impoverish the whole middle and working classes until they rise up with pitchforks and torches and take the country straight to Communism as happened in Russia, China, Cuba, Argentina….
Hey Varvel, How about the direction we’ve been heading toward for the last four years, fascism. Of course I could try to point out the difference between socialism and communism, but that would overtax your limited intellect.
The calm waters of capitalism where the 1% while away their days in the sun where their only care is the imminent possibility that their Trump era tax cuts and other laws favorable to huge donors will be rescinded by the new, duly elected President.
