Why does Pilsner get upset that Moondog eats chicken? Pilsner isn’t a chicken. I don’t get upset when people eat other mammals, like pigs and cows.
Okay. So there’s chicken in the nuggets? Blow me down. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I don’t even want to know what’s in a hot dog. I have to wear earplugs when served Bubble and Squeak. I definitely draw the line at shoo-fly pie. In case they missed one. The best meat pies were at a little bakery next to the barbershop. Best of all, when someone ends up eating crow. The gagging reflex can be over come with practice.
It was just a coincidence when we gave my wife’s pet rabbit “Stu” to a guy I knew who raised pet rabbits and that same night we had rabbit stew for dinner. She actually saw the rabbit leave with the guy and we already had the rabbit meat in the freezer. She still accused me of being mean.
On the other hand, a certain parrot species in New Zealand has evolved a parasitic behavior on sheep, whereby they use their sharp hooked beak to get under the fleece and skin and eat the subcutaneous fat on the living sheep. The injuries the parrots inflict are not mortal, but they can lead to infections and death. I saw a trail cam video of the behavior, and it was truly revolting. Pilsner might want to take note of this, and see what he can do to clean his own house before he criticizes others.
If we can ever get to the stage of technology where we can grow meat in vats, the way we do with plants, we can free up a tremendous amount of grazing land to return to nature, instead of being overrun the way it is now, especially with the deforestation of the “planet’s lungs”, the Amazon rainforest. As it is, of all the mammals on Earth, 96% are livestock and humans, only 4% are wild mammals; of all the birds, 70% are chicken and other poultry, only 30% are wild. Bonus: We reduce cow farts, which are a non-trivial contributor to the methane that’s 10 times more of a greenhouse gas than the carbon dioxide that’s behind global warming.

Poor little Pilsner. He’s a bird of better than average brain, but he does flip out over anything to do with the “abuse” of birds. :P

Looks like Moondog would be more sensitive to Pilsner’s feelings, considering the major deal he makes of Thanksgiving barbarity.

No worries. It’s actually the new plant based nuggets. Now, where is that gallon of sauce I asked for?

Notwithstanding the sick coincidence, Pilsner would be upset in any event to see Moondog eating chicken nuggets. Barbarian.

Sure, Moonie. Just a coincidence—if you say so….
Pilsner is too jacked about another chicken serving Man, anyway.
