Do they make primitive go-carts out of the wheels, like the kids in Bill Cosby’s neighborhood?

Yeah, I know, they used baby coach wheels - nothing else would work.

Looks like those “Primitive Tools” include a lug nut wrench.

Reminds me of the time my dad and I borrowed a pickup. It had a flat and no jack. Fortunately we were in the woods and cut some logs. I was the levitator of the truck.

Bdaysuit, that the coons finagled a lug-spanner shows that they are even smarter than Broomie had heard (since they also figured out that specialised tools are more efficient than primitive ones)

Rakhav, perhaps they make larger carts (say slightly smaller than the oxcart quite ubiquitous in India)?

    Bdaysuit:

i watched a movie recently where the hero used a pair of handcuffs as a wrench, maybe those raccoons had a pair in their arsenal

Possibly a crossover from “Over the Hedge?” RJ has lots of tools in his arsenal!

No fesalazarsoto, it’s a 1956 Plymouth (subject of an earlier strip).

Maybe those raccoons know a pack rat who’ll fence those wheels for food.

Racoons could open any kind of latch on our chicken coop. Only a padlock would keep them out.

@prasnivinara: Maybe they make quasi-oxcarts to steal food, much like R.J. used a child’s red wagon in the film Over the Hedge, but even more daringly.

Go-carts (basically three boards, four wheels and a rope and/or a wheel for steering) might not be as ubiquious in India as they used to be in America. But not long ago, Thor (in B.C.) essentially invented one (calling it a “car”), and Peter and the Cute Chick were tooling around in it (pun intended).

This side of hands (and feet) with opposable thumbs, raccoon paws have got to be the most versatile appendages around.
