Revising an observation I made many months ago: Hemlurk and the Nasties would be a great name for a band.

I understand Olwen’s skepticism.

So the clock’s barely literate.

I didn’t think Olwen would get such an icy retort from Baba.

Intention > form

My bet’s on Baba, LOL

Maybe Baba’s not all bad – the misspelled name on the contract might be a way for a taken soul to get out of the clock – if they (or someone else who is perhaps coming to save them) figures out the contract has errors. :)

Note that she has written it with her blood — obviously, it has to be a Blood Oath to work, and the clock doesn’t really care whose blood.

Baba is willing to pay someone else’s soul, but her own blood.

Is it just me, or is the clock wearing the Medusa Orb as its battery charger is identified?
