Hello, people of GoComics, today we’ll be canceling Cancel Commenter; even though he is satirical, he honestly kinda is annoying sometimes, as, for example, in past editions of Big Nate, he attempted to ridicule Space Owl Among Us and Chad commenters, and if I’m not correct; Moon Man, and yeah… you can read them for yourself, overall some of his comments can be funny but overall he’s just kinda annoying, which I guess is his purpose afterall.

He could’ve told him and not let it escalate.

the fact that this happened because of a valentine from a random girl to Nate and Teddy is funny and weird to me. the set up is pretty wack.that aside- this has the potential to be an interesting arc, but half of yesterday’s comments is about that stupid argument caused by cancel commenter. how toxic

I bet this is a big story arc. I think that Nate and Francis won’t be friends and then make up. This could be the last story arc. It would make sense because the strip has been going on for 30 years and Mr Pierce could be retiring.

BIG NATE AND THE SNAP: ENDGAME | PART 9

Five years have passed since Alien Nichols used The Snap to wipe out half of all life across the universe. The world has been falling apart, but recently it is starting to revive itself back up. Nate has become an orphaned teenager, Teddy has started a part-time job as a circus clown, and Chad hasn’t changed one bit. Nate walks into a room with a computer in it. He inserts a disc into the drive, turns on the computer, and plays some security footage about what was going on in the Wright house when the Snap occurred. In the footage, Marty is shown washing the dishes, humming. Ellen is heard screaming.

Ellen (footage): AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Marty (footage): Wha- anything wrong, sweetheart?

Ellen is shown coming down the stairs, but trips over the last step. She is turning into dust.

Ellen (footage): DADDY? WHAT’S HAPPENING TO ME?!

Marty (footage): I don’t know, I’m calling 911!

He dials the number for 911. An operator picks it up. On the other line, screaming is heard. It is so loud, Marty can’t hear the operator, who later hangs up on them. By that time, Ellen is nothing but bits of dust. Marty cries over her remains.

Marty (footage): No… Ellen… my sweet baby…

Nate rests his hand on the computer monitor. He takes a deep breath.

Nate: Dad… even though you died of a broken heart years ago… I’ll always remember you.

After a few seconds, the security footage ends. Nate grabs the disc from the drive and leaves the room.
