I keep my bird seed in a metal garbage can. The squirrels learned how to remove the lid. I have a brick holding it down now. You should see their cute little hands ’er paws trying to lift the lid off. Funny.
Actually, my friendly Maryland backyard squirrels, opossums, & racoons have been reasonably considerate so far this year. No signs yet of the foxes or deer.
