In my cursive learner’s book (Palmer Method) we started out doing just this.

W should be called double V, and it still wouldn’t bother them!

My granddaughters told me they can’t read cursive.

Cursive "w"’s don’t connect like that.

And I think she’s one of those that do not want the peas to touch the other food.

A V in between is optional…
