I thought having actual names meant Aurora and Fawn would actually be one-dimensional, as opposed to the zero dimensions of Felecia’s unnamed cat and squirrel friends. And yet this happened without Dakota going goth.

Even Superman doesn’t have very many people with whom to talk when he’s in his Fortress of Solitude.

What? You don’t like peace and quiet, Dakota?

Dakota isn’t being friendly as such, but she’s not being mean. I think it’s progress.

This arc reminds me of a Berenstain Bears book where the new girl at school, Lizzie,took all of Sister Bear’s friends away from her by buying them soft ice cream.

And the trees have a fresh and pleasant smell♡.

It’s also potentially a problem for Dakota, because she’s clearly more social than that. Which is fine—my sister is the same way, but because she’s so social, she doesn’t get the appeal of doing things like this, because she’d rather be in the company of others.

This is also a thing introverts do. Also, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
