Opposite directions, guy! Opposite directions! You want fun, you need to keep Dad busy with other stuff.

Our St Bernard was a rescue and we never really did get her well trained on a leash, she preferred playing in the yard to walkies

My wife has a lot more experience with dogs and she did OK

Sometimes I thought Lola just liked to pull with me because it was a good test of strength for both of us

One of my neighbours walks three little dogs and it’s comical watching her do the “leash step over” movement as they wind around her and themselves.

My previous Lab would choke himself to death (hypothetically speaking) rather than quit pulling. And that was on a standard collar and leash! My current Lab was trained with a prong collar (not sharpened spikes) and then a chain collar, and then graduated to an expandable leash. Now he can walk without any device attached. They just need to be properly trained.

It is on those walks that the dogs and Doug see weird creatures of the Dark Fey that wander in the area. The Fey must have a hive nearby maybe even under the housing area. We saw at least one of the larger misshapen Fey of the Dark half in a yard near their house. None of them aggressive or dangerous just weird.

Dachshund Interval Workout: Alternate 2 minutes of high-intensity aerobics when the dog wants to go someplace with 3 minutes of resistance training when she doesn’t.
