Now, Fred. I think it’s been established Kitty likes you since you guys have cuddled together a few times. Let him have a little snack. Maybe then you can either play or take a little nap.
Jaws of Death, my 90 lb. gentle-as-a-lamb pit bull, would let the cats push him away from the food bowl. The other dog, though, is very possessive to the point that I keep the cats in a seperate room when I feed the dogs. Be careful with this, folks.
Reminds me of our cat Charlie in 1994 who had a growl that scattered dogs. Charlie was abandoned in our Overland Park ,KS neighborhood as a kitten, & survived eating left out dog food.

Sorry Fred…there is no loyalty at the supper bowl apparently! Hope you got lots of those pancakes yesterday! At least you got a friendly purr…

That kitty is pretty cheeky, eh Fred? Maybe she’s a stray and is hungry. I’m just happy to see her.

Sorry to tell you this, Fred, but most “friends” have an ulterior motive.

My two dogs and the cat eat from each others bowls all the time. Not particularly good for the dachsi, ‘cause she’s on a special diet.

Dog food isn’t good for cats and cat food isn’t good for dogs. They have completely different digestive systems and nutritional needs.

I have a Blue Jay in the yard that demands cat food.

I wonder why the cat doesn’t just move in? No one seems to mind.
