Hike/walk/jog/run, I’ve done all four. As long as I have tunes that I like, the outside world fades away. Mind you, while hiking a trail, you can concentrate on birdsong, a soft breeze moving the leaves, watch a big fat raccoon watching you, listen to wild turkeys having some kind of rally, but most of all, watch out for bears!!

Cycling is my preferred way to meditate in motion, but yeah, good for the soul too- either way.

Yoga for me. Isn’t it cool how the fretting blows away, though — whatever it is we do for this?

Doesn’t work for me, just more time free of distraction to stew over my problems. I need to clear my mind before I go out.

My problem is I talk to myself out loud and when I do this during a walk/jog people look at me funny.
