I don’t think Tim Donaghy would win, even if he wasn’t reffing another sport.

Are they drinking beer in uniform or that Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade stuff? The Rams-Saints game a couple years ago seems to be a high/low point.

A Nomination for Hall of Fame Referee Call would have to go to Jerry Markbreit out of the East Coast refs . . . “Personal Foul, number ##, he was down there giving him the business . . . First Down . . .” :D

So many refs, so little time.

It’s easy to be a referee or an umpire … until you actually get down on the field or the court and do it yourself. The perspective of the game is entirely different when you’re in the middle of things. The view of the fan in the stands or watching television is a lot different than what’s seen by the official on the spot.

I’m sure the Vegas bookmakers have their GOAT refs.
