Shake your booties Louie! Shake them right overboard!

Erase the booties and give him an ugly sweater.

Louie shouldn’t need booties while on board the ship. He was overdressed!

Be sure to put on your booties campers because it’s cold out there

neither of my Labs would walk with the booties in our long walks , there is a lot of winter salt and it would hurt their paws ,so instead I would put Vaseline on the paw pads as we went out the door . But to run around the yard they were fine and LOVED the snow till it went -15 f .

Yeah, booties on any dog other than sled dogs who need protection from extreme cold? Terrible. Just like “dressing” dogs…

I love when the cartoonist is included in the strip, usually to be scolded by the mice. Wonderful!!

I believe Louie has put on a couple of winter pounds.

Anyone who has dug ice or tiny snowballs from between the dog’s toes will appreciate the boots on a dog.

We had a dog that loved her booties. She was a smart dog—she knew quick enough what the purpose was for them. But then again she was a dog who would strain on her leash towards the door of the vet clinic because she knew when she was unwell she would be better after visiting there.

We use those here because of the road salt.

I do wonder about all of the “clothes” for pets. I guess they get used to them?

The boots will keep the ice off your pads.
