I used to travel frequently with a colleague who would complain how he could never sleep on planes.
What was funny was when the chime would go off that we passed 10,000 feet I would turn and look over at him, and he would be sawing logs, and snorring like a buzz saw. He wouldn’t wake up until we started our approach. Then when we are walking to the rent-a-car counter he would tell me how he couldn’t sleep, and probably wouldn’t get any sleep at the hotel.
He honestly believed that he never slept on planes. I never pointed it out to him, didn’t think it mattered.

Last I heard, it was the ability to Sleep while standing up that people find amazing.
