This made me reminisce about a cool kid I’d see in the neighborhood most every Saturday. Albert was a big guy, partial to red sweaters, who hung out with some really funky dudes. Best thing about knowing him was how we wound up learning from each other while we did our thing. Good times…
I’ll accept that Frazz might be some version of Calvin when he grows up, but the idea that Barney might be some version of Charlie Brown when he grows up … well, some of my “hippy” friends turned out to be money-grubbers, so I guess it’s possible.
