Geography is a moving target. Only this week I learned that Dacca is now Dhaka.
Dacca joins all the other places that no longer exist [wink]: Peking, Canton, Siam, Bombay, Calcutta, Formosa, the Soviet Union, the German Democratic Republic, the Union of South Africa, Southern Rhodesia, Tanganyika, the Belgian Congo, the United Arab Republic, and so forth, with (no doubt) more to come.
And that’s all just the 20th century! Don’t get me started on Constantinople!
But at least science never changes. [maniacal laughter]
With those imaginations, they will both go pretty far in their careers. However, for today, two friends will just have another couple of hours of good friendship……
