True story. Daughter’s 6th grade graduation, they released the two butterflies the class had obtained as caterpillars and watched metamorph. Bird swooped down and snatched one much to the consternation of the entire class. Lots of tears.

You’re a good man, Nate. The butterflies are/were lucky to have you.
