I learned 3 on the tree in a GMC Van. Moved on to 4 on the floor, and now I’m driving 5 on the floor. I doubt I’ll get carjacked, because, as they say, “Nobody does that any more, too much work!” Hello everybody, I’m Nobody!
My dad continued driving stick long after automatics became standard, because manuals are far less likely to be stolen. A knee injury means he can’t work the clutch pedal now.

Yes, it is your fault. Learn. 3 on a tree, 4 on the floor, or automatic. Learn!

I’ll teach you, Huda. But, um, you’ll have to supply the vehicle.

Driving well is diffèrent to escape driving: floor it, pop the clutch

If you learn to drive stick will you become fearless? Or will you be afraid all the nearby cars are locked and you don’t know how to pick locks?

Just carry a skateboard with you everywhere you go. Fears gone.

I can’t think of one reason I would be chased by a mob. How odd!
