James D French would have appreciated it, I think.

I wonder why there aren’t any strips set in prisons? The Wizard of Id is the only one I can think of that regularly goes there, but I think there would be scope for a drama strip if they still existed.

Of COURSE the prisoner would order FRENCH fries! Eleven year olds would not know about croissants and escargot! LOL

Big, fat fries. Fried in lard. Nice bit of salt. Cholesterol? I’M SITTING IN THE FREAKING ELECTRIC CHAIR! IT AIN’T THE CHOLESTEROL THAT’S GOING TO KILL ME!

Of all the things two eleven year olds could make a comic about and they choose a prison?? Hopefully, they would have no idea about prison life. But, okay, this is funny!

I’m sure my 11 year old self would have come up with something much worse, probably vulgar

    I blame my older brothers

I just came back after a long stretch of busy in my life and I’m SO sad you’re going away, Lennie… I loved reading your comic and having the peek into your life. I wish you the best in all you endeavor. Give Homie a squeeze from me. With love, admiration and respect.Stacy

I may be a 68 year old woman, but I have the sense of humor of an 11 year old boy. I laughed out loud.

When I was in 6th grade, a boy classmate and I would draw cartoons, of course at my house. I had forgotten all about that! Wonder whatever happened to Billy W.? Of course I moved to N TX from S NJ and lost contact with most of them.

Aha. The necessary clue (the Eiffel tower in the distance) isn’t easy to make out. And as for the joke, is it a sophisticated reference to the ambivalence that the French have toward French (actually Belgian) Fries? Or the crude slang for execution by electric chair?

The Eiffel Tower was a nice touch. Amazing, but not surprising for 11 year old Lennie.

I’m sorry, but it’s actually pretty funny. (What can I say? I have a juvenile sense of humor.)
