I could never control my actions.

Yikes.

I’m not able to control what I do in my dreams.

Got red pill?

I always wake up when I realize I’m dreaming.

I never dream that I’m sleeping.

I was watching a series called Evil and the one lady’s therapist did a conditioning because she couldn’t be sure if she was dreaming or if she really was being supernaturally tormented. He tied a blue string around her wrist and told her every hour on the hour to look at the string on her wrist and ask herself “Am I dreaming?” That would condition her to do that when the torment happened again and if she didn’t see it on her wrist, then she was dreaming. I’ve tried to tell myself in my dreams to wake up because I was dreaming, but it doesn’t seem to work. Especially when I’m dreaming my teeth are falling out.

Which is worse?

If I want to know I’m dreaming I ask Siri to do something for me. If she messes up and my phone goes wonky I know I’m dreaming.

If my phone ever breaks I’ll assume I’m dreaming and try some stupid, like trying to fly.

So far the only time I’ve wondered if I was dreaming was when I was dreaming. Just asking the question is proof enough.

I have a vacation next month.

I really need it because I have had work dreams!

In which case it’s lucid dreaming.
