Rugby went into anaphylactic shock from, we think, a spider bite. Totally collapsed right in front o me. Drove an hour to Deerfield, Ma closest 24 vet. BTW, they are awesome. Called them on the way and explained what happened. “ We are coming in hot”. They saved his life.
I wonder what era Brian set his strip in. The circa 1957 station wagon, Mom’s hairdo, and the cathode ray T.V. set with rabbit ears must be shoutouts to the Baby Boomer readers.

I wish we had a vet that would make house calls. We don’t even have access to a vet over the weekend and the emergency vet is over 1 1/2 hours away.

Suddenly, I too wish I had a cookie! Love the finned station wagon, a 1957 Dodge Sierra?

Congrats – you’ve now mastered the Stephen Pastis method of using several panels to set up the final punchline.

Rover must have read today’s Over the Hedge and found out you get a treat when you go to the doctor’s office.

There must be a suitable way to punish Rover when he does things like this.

Late 1950s station wagon. Mom has an early 60s ‘do straight from Laura Petrie. Yet women in professions wer rare back then. Do the time warp
