He should hire Gene Kelly to walk Kewpie in this weather.

Brutus has a disability and can’t either wash his own dog or take him to a groomer? Rain isn’t going to remove shampoo and certainly not at the distance Brutus is likely to walk.

We have a pit bull lab mix. He looks like a pit bull but acts like a lab. He hates getting a bath, but loves water. There’s a pond close to our house. He loves playing in it. Maybe I could do that with him. Let him get wet, then soap him up. The pound would rinse him off.

There’s a solution for every problem. Yours isn’t too bad but it needs some tweaking. Have that lazy, bum wife leave a bucket of warm water by the door with a couple of towels to finish off the job when you get back……
