Wallace—how are you going to throw your shoes into the harbor if they’re up in the rafters?

For those of you wondering what Wallace’s X-Factor is, and complained about his use of “here, hold my soda,” I laugh in your general direction. Ha, I say. Ha!

So I guess both of Wallace’s shoes are in the rafters now

somebody give the seagull some lunch he is hungry

that baby bird has a new nest now the shoe

I hope he didn’t tie his shoes together, like all those shoes on telephone lines. Nah, Wallace is too cool for that.

The staff probably wouldn’t bother to retrieve the frisbee, but has strong motivation to get those shoes back!

I love the continued use of the “Heavens no” by Spud!

If the seagull thinks about a sandwich long enough, maybe Gary will show up.

His mother will be so proud of his resourcefulness in retrieving a $2 toy.

What a friend we have in Wallace.

Little wonder parents go grey prematurely.

…Was Wallace already not wearing socks, or did he throw the socks up into the rafters too?

I ask, because either one seems just as likely with Wallace.

I’m sort of surprised Wallace started by asking Spud to throw his shoe. I would’ve thought Wallace would’ve started with his own, and then worked his way down to Spud’s once he ran out of his own shoes, considering Wallace’s indifference to his shoes in general.

Wallace’s middle name IS “barefoot”. School’s not out yet but barefooting it for a friend’s frisbee is a good reason…..

Couldn’t have accomplished the same thing with a text book?

Same thing once happened to me with a cat. But, eventually I was able to fling her just right and recovered my shoe from that darned tree.

many things got stuck up in the rafters of the gym. Ah, memories!

Hm, I’ve never heard “third time’s A charm.” I’ve only ever heard “third time’s THE charm.” Maybe it’s regional.

I have a feeling this is based on a real incident. Truth is stranger than fiction….
