The neighbors have a dog that reacts to all sounds too. Other barking dogs, bawling children, postmen, paperboys, windowcleaners, lawnmowers, garbage collecting, fireworks, sonic jet booms, you get the idea. Very annoying.

We had a dog that used to bark if someone used a stapler in the house.

I’m pretty sure dogs bark at anything for no apparent reason

Ha! Odie can bark at doorbells, car horns, and someone knocking at the door, but has to ask if he can bark at anything going “Aooogah”.

Just another reason that we have only owned cats. Cats don’t bark or annoy neighbors with their barking. Unlike my neighbors’ cute and precious YAPPY dog!
