I saw a story about an old time golfer. He played the game for decades. But he always had really lousy luck playing the game. I guess he played for the companionship, or maybe the exercise, or maybe the drinks in the club-house after the game. But as far as the game went, he had lousy luck. It seems that his bad luck lasted to the very end. For when it was time to bury his casket, it still took six or seven tries to sink it into its hole.
I hated golf for a long time, never got anywhere with it, though it was fun to play with my brothers.
Then I watched an old video of Seve Ballesteros and just watched his swing!
So I copied it ,even though it felt completely alien to me and I thought this is ridiculous!
Amazingly after a few rounds it started to work and the golf ball went exactly where I wanted it to go and golf became extremely fun for me until eventually I actually broke par!
One of my brothers asked me what I was doing so I showed him, and he was amazed at how it helped.
My other brother didn’t want to know anything so he kept playing horrible golf and complaining all the time!
Learning from the experts is a good thing, but not learning from them or from your relatives who have learned, is not a good thing!
Cosmos’s golf game might improve if he wore golf clothes rather than his business attire. That tight jacket could be inhibiting his swing, especially with his rather robust physique.
