My cats and I were out walking when we discovered a five-level “bridge” made by fallen redwoods. Kirby hopped across the Little River and struggled through the riverside brush to get there, jumping from one-level to the other until he reached the top log. I followed him and then Johnny Depp joined us. On the next trip, Kirby tried to find an easier path further up the embankment but still had a struggle. The third time, he must have thought “to heck with it” and simply waded in the cold, cold water to get there. He really liked the view from up there. It was a great view.
