It only existed in the minds (what little there is) of the Reich wing.

Thankfully the “slobbering love affair” is waning. They now have a room so we don’t see all the public lip locks

Oh, great, are we in for another week of strawmen with no punchlines? The left is, and always has been, 10 times more critical of Obama than the neocons ever were of Bush 43. If we left him to his own devices, he would be a solid Center Moderate, slightly to the right of Eisenhower, just like Clinton was. But, if we use our clear majority and pull him to the left from the grass roots, we may actually get some positive results. Those rallies and gatherings were about those grass roots coming together for change; they were never about Obama. Worship is just a Fox News caricature. The left is not authoritarian, and we can let someone lead us politically without worship, which scares the all-or-nothing right wing.

Ian, the problem Obama may be facing is not from the left. They will never be satisfied because our country and consequently its leadership tends more towards moderation. The declining popularity is coming from the center which went overwhelmingly to Obama. It may not bother you but the $1.86T deficit for fiscal 2009 is going to come out of the pockets of the tax paying center of this country. They are beginning to realize that.

Actually, JFK inherited Viet Nam from Eisenhower, who had promised to hold free elections therein. JFK didn’t handle it right, but he didn’t start it.

Obama worship coming to an end, it’s about time.

I still can’t believe a man with no experience in leading anything is in the oval office.

He never even voted on an important issue, so lame.

The biggest change I see is Obama and his family having a great time.

Parties at the White House, trips to the west coast for late night talk shows. His daughter celebrates her 8th birthday in high style in Paris.

People are out of work so Obama and his family show they feel ‘the peoples’ pain by living the high life.

The debt he is putting the country in is just plain scary.

Party on Barack, party on Michelle

Sure beats the last man in the oval office. Lack of experience trumps lack of brains.

“Party on Barack, party on Michelle”

And be excellent to each other.

Just read an article where Barack was compared to Hitler. Scary how similar they are. Oh, and Bush didn’t lack brains, he lacked the ability to speak mrprongs. Barack can’t speak either without a teleprompter with him.
