She is a thinking turbo machine.

This is the first time I had the same reaction to each panel, the intensity of each reaction got greater until my one thought at the final panel was as follows…

I want my own pet monkey. … Um, no.

Squirrels act very much like monkeys. … NO,

Catch a squirrel and knit a tiny monkey suit. … no. NO, NO!!

Squirrels were a popular pet in Colonial America.

Aggie has a mind like a steel trap. One left out in the woods since 1959.

This isn’t going to end well.

OK, Agnes is tn Brown Co,.Ohio. There is just one County, between them and Cincinnati. Last week there was (most likely) a hoax involving a “gang” of monkeys,running around Cincinnati. WAS IT SQUIRRELS IN MONKEY SUITS ????

Good luck catching a squirrel. That’s like trying to catch a free range chicken.

It’s easy to catch a squirrel. Persuading it to love you is much more difficult.

Don’t forget the tiny cuff links, Agnes.

To paraphrase the Sundance Kid’s smirking retort to Butch Cassidy, “you just keep thinking Agnes. That’s what you do best.”

I think it would be fun just watching them try to catch a squirrel

One reason I only comment on Agnes occasionally is that it would get boring to constantly state, “Agnes is really weird.”

Usually, people call a tuxedo a monkey suit. That will be a fancy formal squirrel when Agnes clothes it. However, she could be thinking of a monkey costume.
