Finally, something Snoopy’s mouth is good for besides snacking.

If the ball hasn’t hit the ground yet, can he spit it back in to the air and return it?

If Snoopy had clothes on, they would be flying off him Just like Charlie Brown.

I still remember “He who lives by the lob dies by the lob.” I assume it’s coming up?

And yet he won’t play fetch with CB.

Poaching is when you cut off an incoming ball headed towards your doubles partner and hit it before they can.

But no such partner has been shown in any strip this week. Did this putative partner hit the ball into Snoopy’s mouth in his anger? ???

The tennis equivalent for Snoopy of the line drive that knocks Charlie Brown’s clothes off.
