Divorce is so hard on children when they love both parents. I know, I came from a broken home and at the time, it seemed I was the only one in my group of friends that have gone through it. I felt all alone and confused. Why my friends parents where still together and mine wasn’t. We as children want our parents to get along during the holidays and as years passed my mom invited our dad to Christmas morning. They ended up being friendly up until he passed. It can happen.
