If only this generation knew how much fun we had with our imaginations. Kids today don’t even know what it is, unless parents take away their video games and phones.
We couldn’t wait to grow up, but not for that reason. We weren’t bored — we were restless. (but not “The Young and the Restless”. The only soap opera we liked was Jonathan Frid as the Vampire in Dark Shadows.)

We got 7 channels. ABC, CBS, NBC, ABC in Canada, CBS in Canada, NBC in Canada, and PBS. When the TV had all its tubes working, that is.
