Yaffle lost all his nuts hiring that pit crew. Before we were allowed to drive we had to prove to Dear Old Dad we could change a tire. I learned to not park in the Parental Unit’s Driveway when DOD was at home.
Should have drawn a NASCAR race car – it actually has five lug nuts, and the changer does have to carry them. He spins off the old lug nuts and they go flying all over – the new lug nuts are already glued to the new wheel, but since they might fall off the changer does carry spares. Indy cars have just one big lug nut, and it is reused. The special socket that fits that big nut has magnets so to change a tire the nut is spun off, trapped in the socket by the magnets, and spun back on after the new tire + wheel is installed.
Sorry to get technical on ya… it’s a good cartoon idea.
Who’d ever guess that ’ Yaph El’ (yaffle) means judge and ruler of the weary and fatigued? Additionally, the angel Gabriel was described as being swift and fatigued trying to get a message to some historic figure named Daniel.
( I’m up to the 3,286th day of my alphabetical Bible words and the Y group is rather interesting now.)
