I learned long ago that, sometimes, all I can do is fight a delaying action and hope for them to give up before I have to do whatever it is. It rarely works, but not never.
I must be on a Poncho channel. We would be told to turn lights off and go to sleep. I would ask if I could finish the chapter I was reading before I turned off the lights. Usually, I had just gotten two or three words into said chapter. The answer yes usually bought me 20 extra minutes of reading time.

Why bathe? You get dirty again anyway. Just wastes water unnecessarily and it doesn’t help against dirty thoughts either.
