I hated when my company started trying to do that. It was like daily reviews. Luckily there was too much work to do and it would fade away in the rush.
This works so seldom, one wonders how consultants get away with always suggesting it.
The “work ethic” is not what it was. I am of a generation that got bored quickly unless I was busy. Now people prefer their portable entertainments to accomplishments. I know few people who even have hobbies. (Listening to audio books is NOT a hobby.)

We all eventually get to a point where we are not rebuildable. Norm is probably already there.
