If the lawnmower looks odd to you, you might not know that British push-type lawnmowers rotate in the opposite direction from American, requiring the clipping basket to be in the front of the mower, not behind.
And for a historical note, there was a time when the BBC had a complete monopoly on British TV broadcasting so there was no such thing as a commercial break in the UK.
These are examples of why comics for me are much, much more than just jokes.
