My first program was The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle. I was a wee lad then. Remember it like it was yesterday.

When I went to school we never had computers. Computers back then were these huge wall to wall things with spinning tape reels and flashing lights like you seen on the original Star Trek. So, I can’t relate until seeing today’s comic of how utterly boring a job today’s computer school teachers must have.

As a computer science professor, I love this. Note that GollyGosh typed iiiiiiiiiiisjdfdksjfdkflsdj++ instead of iiiiiiiiiiisjdfdksjfdkflsdj = iiiiiiiiiiisjdfdksjfdkflsdj + 1.

If the teacher knows what she’s doing, it’s hilarious. If she doesn’t know what she’s doing, it’s even funnier.

“Smack, smack?” I gather. if she was not wasting time, it would be “tap, tap.” And is that an alien craft above Nancy head, in panel four?
