And this is why I have indoor cats. I worry when my cats get out. Twice I have had on disappear although they were both very happy at home. Bonus with indoor cats, they don’t kill songbirds. I hope kitty comes back real soon!
Down here on the Southern edge of the Texas Hill Country, a number of cats have disappeared, and nursing mama Coyotes have been spotted. As Arlo (of Arlo and Janis) observed to his cat today, most evidence is circumstantial. I’m glad Fred Basset is not set around here. Poor Fred might be heartbroken.

I’ve never owned a cat. But have petted and held a few. Purring does have a calming effect on people.
