Thtpf! I heard Bill’s brain rattling around in panel 3 as Steve shook him. It sounded rather small. Really small. Pooh, a bear of little brain, seemed ever so much smarter than Bill.

Steve is guilty of shaken cat syndrome.

It would have been funny if Steve had killed Bill right then and there, denying the state the honor of doing away with the cat.

I learned both of those rules, and mastered them, when I was nine years old.

I don’t know about the communism part… but I think ol’Bill needs to be institutionalized since he’s just about CATatonic.

Socialism works fine in moderation. It’s actually very efficient and cost effective for public utilities, universal pension plans and universal health care, as well as transportation networks — because everyone in the country is essentially a shareholder as well as a customer and therefore approve of modest profits being reinvested in improved service.

All sensible liberals and socialists have known for 40 years that communism on a country-wide scale won’t work because human nature/limited ability/unlimited arseholery will always muck it up. Just as those same things always cause unregulated capitalism to fail miserably as well.
