I once rode 16 miles on my bike to see a girl. I went down a big hill, and as I started up the next one, a big dog came out after me! I pedaled as hard as I could. I passed a sign for the local volunteer ambulance company, and thought, “See you soon!” But the dog gave up.
When I was a teen, there were a couple of dogs in the (rural) neighborhood that liked to try to chase me. I say try, because I thought it was fun to stop, turn around and face them. The confused look on their face was priceless. Watching them tuck tail and run when I chased them back was even funnier.
