    1965 might be a better cutoff, so that “Mary Poppins” and “The Sound of Music” can be included.

    While I agree with the concept, I don’t see the value of limiting things in the home that kids pick up in school. The playground is where I learned all my #@&%# language skills as a youngster, and that was 50 years ago.

    “The Straight Story” is a G-rated movie for adults, directed by David Lynch. Try and wrap your head around that one.
