our kids all developed strange eating habits by the time they were pre teens. We never forced any of them to eat everything because that is what my mother did to me. Keeping me sitting at the dinner table until I cleaned my plate. 2 foods I flat refused to eat for any reason were 1-the field corn seeds my mother bought by mistake (looking for sweet corn) and planted in the garden, after 1 bite I wouldn’t eat any more. She yelled at me until she tried to eat one. The other was Lima Beans, which I have refused to eat for my entire life. Our youngest only wanted a hamburger and french fries which she at at the tavern every day. Now that she has a kid, she only gives him healthy foods, no burgers, no fries. Most of his lunches-we babysit him 2-3 days a week-are what I think of as rabbit food

I love me a good seafood gumbo. I’ll take that over pizza every time.

My taste buds haven’t matured anywhere near as the rest of me has, evidently.

Bless all the people who don’t like seafood. Image the price if they did!

Gladys has been into French food lately, I think she has been watching too many old Julia Child cooking shows.

If it’s seafood, I’m in. Of course, my level of “maturity” is a good bit higher than Wilberforce’s.

Forget the fancy-pants Bouillabaisse stuff. Cook up some Chicken Booyah instead. Yummm!
