I have a co-worker who was selling his home âas-isâ and had to keep arguing with the potential buyer who kept asking for things to be done. He kept responding with, âitâs as-isâ. He was finally able to make them understand what âas-isâ means and they closed on it, though it took a couple of weeks of back and forth which was a waste of time.
