Cost of Living in Minnesota in 2007, must have been very low, or the house wasn’t much of a house.

In the late 90’s, I bought a fancy new sewing machine for more than my first car (brand new) cost in 1971.

38,000, in 2017, would get you a basement studio apartment/w half bath in NYC!

Prices keep rising ~ that’s what they do. Love Dan’s coffee cup.

Wow, that house was pretty cheap, even in 2007.

Gosh, we bought our first house in 1978 for $60 K in a racially mixed neighborhood in Oakland, CA. It was a stucco 2 bedroom with a shot roof and inadequate wiring. Bay Area housing prices.

I live in the house my parent’s bought just before I was born. They paid $15,000 for a 3 bed 1 bath brick ranch.
