From a standing position feet approx. hip distance apart, sweep the arms up above your head, interlace the fingers and flip your palms toward the ceiling. As you push your palms toward the ceiling let your whole body follow rising on your toes. This is a toe balance as well as a lateral stretch, if you waver in the balance a little it is OK, even palm trees sway with the breeze.
