An FYI for those who may not be getting it: the names, ship and characters, are taken from the old “Tom Corbett, Space Cadet” radio show, which made it to TV and also into a book series. Tom was the unit commander, Roger Manning the brilliant but abrasive and hotheaded navigator, and Astro, the Venusian engineer. They were top unit at Space Academy, and assigned to spaceship Polaris; thus known as the Polaris unit.

This is the exact same thing that happened on 6/15, with just a couple characters switched out. The storyarc is just going around in circles now.
