Tabby - I empathize with your pain - I once had a wisdom tooth that took 3 dentists 3.5 hours to extract, I was awake and they were unable to freeze me completely >_<

okay the bleeding has subsided for now… its only been what about 5 hours… gosh. it was not my wisdom teeth. it was i think an eye tooth…. not sure they are sitting on my microwave at this point in time i sware. if i was going to be in pain an not beable to eat i want to keep the little suckers that made me hurt. lol well im going see if there is any broth or anything i can eat. im starving. i cant go without food. all day anymore im getting older and i know its not wise and my body cant function with all the bload it lost…. yes it was a lot you should see my trash can. lol wow. well bbl thanks for the hugs

marg the braces were able to stay in . just when the pulled the top left tooth it made all my teeth hurt bc the tooth was short and he had to move the wire around. my teeth dont hurt, at this moment its my mouth its self where i got the shots and i just brushed my teeth because i ate mashed pottoes. yummy food. lol so its just all strange. and to tell you the truth i dont like it not one little bit having 3 empty spaces in my mouth that look discusting is just that discusting. lol

oh and you all think im strange now, but whats funny is that i kept my teet…. think i said that already, who knows.

tabby hope you’re doing better - sounds like you are. pookid glad you saw my comment - I left in a place I thought you would find it - was going to leave it in Dog/Doug cartoon, but I never read that one bmonk when I got my braces so so long ago, they had to pull two of my teeth. I kept them - used to really disgust my mom. I still have them for some reason.

Here’s another deposit into the bank, since it’s looking a little lower than it did this morning.

(((tabby))) I’ve had one wisdom tooth extracted. Nothing like you. Mine was growing outwards towards my cheek. The dentist had to take an x-ray before he believed me. Then he just looked in my mouth with his little mirror, and voila! Suddenly he could see it. LOL

However, I digress. I think three extractons at once are a little much in one day, but at least you won’t have to do that again. Take care, sis.

I had all four wisdom teeth taken out in one session. I was totally out for it. The top teeth were just a little misaligned, but the bottom ones were growing forward, and would have eventually been a real problem. So they all went. Then I had to eat soft food for a week–first real meal was Thanksgiving dinner. So I commiserate with you, tabby.

I had turkey thigh with mushroom soy sauce. Pearl River brand, my favorite soy sauce. I like getting turkey in peices. It’s tasty and easy to cook for one person. Plus the cat.

Opps, I shouldn’t have said turkey. Mua bit my finger. He must have thought I was giving him some meat! LOL

johnny I used to think 12 hour shifts wee long. The only 15 hour shifts were when we had inventory. sometimes longer.

Doc. I wish you could have more time off too. I don’t think you have enough time just to be yourself. It isn’t by not being busy that you avoid boredom, it’s by not enjoying life as it happens, quiet times included.

Hi Carmy! what cha’ been doin?

Does doc know what setting to use for the burner? I have difficulty switching between electric & gas, when I’ve done the other for a long time. I remember trying to scramble eggs for lunch in a microwave years ago, because it was in the break room, and that was the only appliance to use to heat food. Yuk!

Dry, I was cleaning my room. I washed the windows and my curtains too. I’m almost done.

Doc, I’m sure you’re handy in the kitchen. Cooking is not very hard to do at all. My husband can cook simple things.

LOLS, Dry! When my girls catch me playing games instead of cleaning, I tell them that I’m getting old, I need a break.

I know doc can make spagetti! Boil the spagetti, open up a jar of sauce and heat it! Now I go all out, but I’m Italian and was raised on pastas and sauces, but for a bachelor, that’s a pretty easy meal!

carmy - The problem is, my hubby was smart enough to make me agree that he didn’t have to do any cleaning, during our pre-marriage negotiations. I make the boys do the dishes, empty the trash, clean up if they make a mess, etc. But since Dad isn’t willing to clean, or “crack the whip” very often to make the boys do it, it is difficult to get the boys to do it. After “cracking the whip” all day to get them to do their schoolwork, I’m too exhausted to keep pushing them to do much housework.

Meatballs are easy to make too. Or just brown some ground beef and when it’s cooked, add a jar of spaghetti sauce and you got a meaty sauce.

I made supper for me tonight, that I think doc could cook. Microwave a Stouffer’s lasagna per instructions. Take some slices of French bread, butter & sprinkle with garlic powder on both sides. Put some grated mozzarella cheese on top, and bake until it starts to brown. Yummy!

doc - Is that a male trait? It seems like my husband works much harder at someone else’s place than he does home. Although, now that he only lives here on weekends, he’s getting a little better about doing work around here.

BTW, I won’t be on-line much tomorrow. Got to go to the store & buy a new dryer, plus stock up on groceries & other necessities. Next week will probably be hit & miss, because my husband is taking (w/o pay) the week off, and so he’ll be around. Maybe I can get him to do some of those long procrastinated projects.

Doc, there’s no “silly reason.” You are a very nice man and you like to help people. It’s not like you’re neglecting your home, you’ll get around to it. So it’s different when someone needs your help.

RRAmom, can’t you get out of your pre-marriage negotiation by reason of insanity? LOLS!

carmy - I may have to try that! LOL!! Our marriage counselor said that if I ever killed my sister-in-law, he’d testify that I’m crazy. (She’s one of those people that it is impossible to get along with! Thankfully, she lives out of state and never visits us.)

Tabby, we had a snake here in our garage. I thought it had slithered out but, the next day when I was opening the garage door, the snake was on the door and it almost fell on me! I got so freaked out, I couldn’t even scream.

sorry guys but black snakes are wondrful! They are harmless and benefical. They eat rats and mice, don’t bite. I don’t think I could pick one up but I would never hurt it. Or a garter snake.
