Spamming. Once I got an email from a friend, claiming she was stranded in London and needed money – you know the one I mean. Problem was I’d seen her yesterday, and bless her, I know bloody well she couldn’t afford to go to London – and she knows we don’t have the kind of money she needed.
I tried to open a facebook account, and found someone had already used my email address, probably by mistyping. Facebook doesn’t have a way for me to straighten that out.

Spamming not hacking. Unless they truly are friends in trouble then you are in trouble.

The latest phishing scam in my area: a person in authority emailing you asking that you purchase cash gift cards for them.

They must be distant friends if they don’t realize he’s not in jail.

I can’t afford a decent lawyer so I’m probably going down. Bailing out doesn’t get time served presentance.

After a few years, I kicked the Book Face habit. It was taking up too much of my time. And I don’t miss it.
