If you won an insanely expensive sports car… you wouldn’t be able to afford the taxes on it, for starters. The best thing to do might actually be to sell it — after income and other taxes you might even get to keep a few bucks.
The next best thing might be to get heavy insurance on it and rent it out to people who want to drive an exotic car. Now your registration fees, sales taxes, and insurance are business expenses and you get to write them off.

I always commented, I would like to have the money to buy “whatever”. I didn’t want to buy it just wanted the money.
