There’s an old “Remo Williams” story where he and Master Chiun outrun a nuclear ‘splosion, so by comic strip logic I halfway believe that. ✨❤️✨

    On a related note …

Couple years back, I was looking to buy a converted firehouse: Gorgeous place, with the tragic downside that it was situated altogether too close to a decommissioned nuclear power plant.

Knowing that the spent waste would have to be hauled away – and potentially catastrophically exposed to the local atmosphere – at some point ultimately dissuaded me.

That the house was constructed near a flood plane wasn’t a selling point, either. ✨❤️✨

Thinking about it, there was a different ‘Remo Williams’ story where terrorists intended to use a truckload of nuclear waste as an impromptu, non-fissionable “Dirty Bomb” …

… they were just gonna ram a building with it.

… and I’d somehow neglected – till today – to add ‘Big Rigs’ to the list of things Bea draws well. ✨❤️✨

That hat Sedine has, looks like a cross between the Radioactive symbol and the Umbrella Corporation!

I hope they are not dropping that off at Racoon City. The mutagenic T-Virus had to come from some unstable isotope, right?

Little Gabby would make a pretty cute zombie, though.

Hopefully, they are just going to create a Daredevil or Spiderman from the radioactive waste.

Don’t you need a special certification to haul radioactive material? Sedine, what kind of connections do you have?

So the truck doesn’t have lead shielding to block the radiation? Whoever authorized all this need to be punished in the same style as Gerald Robotnik!

I like what Sedine named. Her truck, or was it just coincidence who knows?

The radioactive material is a full load of unsold official Boy Scout glow in the dark star charts, on the way to be recycled.

Gotta scrape up whatever they can get.

We know how to package radioactive materials to be totally safe.. Just don’t open the package.

This is why you should ask what your hauling before you start hauling

And we have another moronic depiction of radiation. It’s no wonder some people are terrified of Nuclear Energy.

No worries according to the EPA wesite: Every year, about three million shipments that contain radioactive material are transported in the United States. Radioactive material is used in medicine, power generation, research and manufacturing, and by the military. Like other products and materials, radioactive material is shipped from one location to another.

I guess Charlene hasn’t noticed that Sedine hasn’t turned on the headlights once, even when driving at night!

I have follow Bea’s work for many year now but the arc’s seem to be getting more obtuse. Perhaps even turning a bit dark. Hubs coming out of his shell, marrying the super smart girl of his dreams, having a kid and then deserting them when she changes into a shrew. Now Sedine is driving a semi-truck full of radioactive waste around with a couple of small kids on board. Anyone know if Bea R has a new water supply and the government has been putting something in it? Love In Security but it is getting harder to follow on my end.

This exchange from “Sam & Max Hit The Road” just suddenly sprung, unbidden, to my mind:

From the ‘TV Tropes’ Page …

    >> The bomb exchange after the opening credits:

    >>Sam: Where should I put this so it won’t harm anyone we know or care about?

    >>Max: Out the window Sam! There’s nobody but strangers out there!

    >>(Sam obediently lobs the bomb out the window, whereupon it explodes.)

    >>Sam: I hope there was nobody on that bus.

    >>Max: Nobody we know, at least.
